At 25, I was unhealthy and unhappy. I couldn’t finish a 400m run without stopping and had no desire to step foot in a gym. I had heard about crossfit–but didn’t think I’d want to try it in a million years–running and lifting weights were not my thing. Then, everything started to change. The amazing coaches at Crossfit Mariner Square helped me learn to lift weights, improve my cardio, and set personal goals around fitness and diet. Within months, my body was starting to change. Over the past 4 years at Crossfit Mariner Square, I have lost over 70 pounds and more than anything, am now able to run, box jump, lift weights, do double unders, and even complete pull ups! Crossfit is THE BEST and the community at Crossfit Mariner Square has changed my life!
